Knitaway® in the Rockies 2009
Session I: June 14-18, 2009
Join twenty knitters and Cheryl Oberle for a Knitaway at the historic Hotel Boulderado at the foot of the Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado. The Hotel Boulderado is a turn of the century historic hotel that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Gracious accomodations and a great location are the hallmarks of this hotel.
Knitting workshop sessions will be held in the charming Porch Room of the hotel with lots of natural light. A full cooked breakfast each morning is included in the tuition package. For lunch and dinner you will be on your own to try the wonderful restaurants in Boulder. Afternoons are free to knit, explore, shop and gallery hop, or relax with a massage.
If you can, come a couple of days early and enjoy the Estes Park Wool Market!
The workshop topic for 2009 is "Lace Twist"... More Shawls and
Lace from the author of Folk Shawls.
2009 Knitaway™ in the Rockies tuition, including the daily workshop
and breakfast is $625 per person. Room rates are $169 /single and $189/double
per night plus tax.

Join twenty knitters and Cheryl Oberle in wonderful northern
New Mexico for a Knitaway. Taos is a mountain resort town favored
by artists of all types. The San Geronimo Lodge is an historic adobe grand
lodge. Rooms have private baths and daily maid service. A full breakfast
each morning is included in the registration package. For lunch and dinner
you will be on your own to try the wonderful restaurants in Taos. Knitting
sessions will be held in the comfortable main lodge room. Afternoons are
free to knit, explore, gallery hop, or relax with a massage.
The workshop topic for 2009 is "Knitted Jackets", focusing on
Cheryl's new book of the same name.
